Authorised in Germany, appointed in Denmark
In Germany I am an authorised translator for Danish (ermächtigter Übersetzer), appointed by the President of the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court in 2005.
I also hold the Danish beskikkelse som translatør og tolk, granted in 2005 by the Erhvervs- og Selskabsstyrelsen, with certificate and translatør stamp. It required the Danish university degree cand.ling.merc.
Denmark discontinued this authorisation on 1 January 2016 and no new ones are issued. Existing translatør stamps continue to be accepted directly by Danish authorities.
